It's not meant to be mandatory.  And the wiki is still available for
contributions of code/ideas.  

However, if Wikka does plan on ever supporting a robust modular
architecture like WordPress or ZenCart, such a framework will be a
necessity.

Please continue with creating wiki content for your ideas/code!  As you
can see, the WikkaCase "documentation" (I use the term very loosely) is
still in draft form.  Feel free to annotate where you see fit and/or
have the time to do so.  

I've yet to make the tracker/SVN interfaces publicly accessible, but
will work on making that a reality.   I'm sure a blog post will be in
order when that occurs.
