[wikka-community] Tracker notifications

Dear all,

as you may have noticed, since we introduced user registration in our  
tracker email notifications are automatically sent to the owner of a  
ticket or to any username/email address specified in the cc field  
whenever the ticket is changed/updated. This feature only works for  
users who filled in a valid email address in their Trac user settings.

We have recently introduced the possibility of specifying an  
automatic forwarder to send email notifications from Trac for *any*  
change in the tracker. Although this will probably interest Wikka  
Devs only, I thought it might interest some of our users too. Should  
you want to be notified by email of any change in the tracker, please  
drop me a line with the email address where notifications should be  
sent. Consider that during periods of intense development activity,  
tracker changes may generate a lot of notifications per day.

You can always use RSS feeds to keep an eye on the general timeline,  
on single issues, or on sets of tickets specified via a query.
